FANNING ISLAND: When you think of a TROPICAL ISLAND, Fanning Island, a South Pacific Atoll and part of the Kirabati Republic, is what you might imagine. Pristine, secluded, a population of less than 2,000, no electricity or phones. This paradise comes complete with a year-round mean tenperature of 83 F., a gorgeous turquoise lagoon, palm trees stretching out over sandy beaches and more! Before NCL's regular calls, this was one of the most isolated places on the planet! This stop has been so popular that with the chnage in port regulations not requiring the non-U.S. stop, NCL choose to keep this port of call for at least this year! |
